Mother's Day Dinner in Canada

After an 11 hour flight our feet finally set foot on Canadian soil. I'd forgotten how lovely the crisp air feels on your face and was immediately flooded with memories of home. We exited the airport shortly after 5pm and made our way to my Grandma's favorite chinese restaurant, where our family was waiting with open arms. It was great seeing the faces of those I love and missed so much. When I was living in Canada I would call my Grandma at least three times a week usually while we were cooking dinner and we would natter about this and that. But with us being so far away and the time change our chats have only been monthly if that. So spending Mother's Day with her and my mom filled my heart and made me smile :)
