While Kieran was back in Canada for his holiday he was able to try his hand at skeet shooting. As I said in a previous post, he was unusually good at it. So while we were all home he was eager to take us to the shooting range to show us his skills. He shot about 100 rounds that day and had a sore shoulder to prove it. The gun was a bit big for Evan but, he had never shot a real gun before. It was hilarious when the kick from the recoil of the gun almost knocked him off his feet. He was still a happy boy to have tried it.
Before going home, Kieran and Rob had a face off. Kieran left his dad in the dust. The scores were 15/25 for Kieran and 7/25 for Rob. As you can see in the bottom photo we had an expert scorekeeper so there was no discrepancy in the tally!
