::Heart Strings ::

Today was the last day of school for Evan. His day was filled with all things fun as the last day of school usually is. But life here is often bittersweet. As the school year comes to a close it usually consists of some families relocating. Throughout the year many fresh faces appear and we exchange many hello's. But just like any beginning an end is usually in sight. Which is what the expat life consists of. So today I said goodbye to a few people I will miss and will feel the tug on my heartstrings for quite sometime. But what I have learned is that the people that cross our paths may be with us for a lifetime or just a season. There presence will truly be missed, but their footprints will forever be on my heart!

But... One of the biggest hello's will come in a few days when once again my feet are on Canadian soil enjoying my favorite people on this earth... MY FAMILY. 10 months ago as I stood in the airport crying my soul into a tissue, I said goodbye to my family, my roots. So as my heart swells with opposite emotions, I have so much to be thankful for... Great friends and family!
